Setting up the Attentive integration

The Attentive integration allows you to send SMS marketing data from your sampling campaigns to your Attentive account in real time, allowing you to grow your marketing lists and create powerful segmentation and personalised follow-up communications.

What you need

API Tokens

To setup your Attentive integration, you will need:

  1. API Bearer token for Attentive API

  2. Creative ID

The Attentive white glove support team can provide this information if you are unable to.

Consent checkbox wording

You will need to have your agreed SMS marketing consent wording ready for any campaign. Read Attentive's legal disclosure recommendations.

Integrations permission

You will need the Integrations permission on your SoPost account.

Adding the Attentive integration

To add the Attentive integration, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Campaign Manager > Integrations

  2. Click Add integration

  3. Choose Attentive

  4. Click Next

  5. Enter a name for the connection, then enter your API Bearer token and Creative ID

Setting up Attentive on your campaigns

To get the consumer data that you collect in your data capture forms over to Attentive, your Customer Success Manager will need to:

  • Create a marketing consent with the SMS channel enabled – learn how to create consents

  • Enable the Attentive integration on each of your consumer journeys
